In order to implement the environmental management policy (environmental protection, pollution prevention, resource conservation, green products, full participation, continuous improvement, compliance with laws and regulations and benefiting the society), SYE has always regarded environmental protection and sustainable development as an important part of the sustainable development strategy of each factory of the Company, and has taken the following actions to carry out environmental protection measures:

Improving all personnel’s awareness of environmental protection of the Compay by various training and activities.The Company has worked out continuous improvement measures, and worked out energy efficiency measures in every production environment. Starting from every sheet of paper, every drop of water and every kilowatt of electricity, it implements views of environmental protection into daily work.

The Company’s new, reconstruction and expansion projects are strictly based on the environmental protection facilities for auxiliary construction as well as the systems for simultaneous design, simultaneous construction and simultaneous operation. For investment projects, the Company always implements one-vote down system. Three-simultaneous system is applicable to all new new projects (pollution control and prevention and other public hazard facilities in the construction projects as well as integrated utilization facilities must be designed, constructed and operated simultaneously). Environmental protection design and environmental protection investment must be taken into full consideration for the requirements for complying with environmental protection related laws and regulations and projects’ feasibility study. The implementation of projects must be subject to environmental protection acceptance. Waste water and waste gas control facilities must run steadily, with pollutants to be discharged by living up to set standards.
